Our Mission

Animals for Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization serving communities in Connecticut since 1996. Our organization is dedicated to the rescue, placement, and care of animals in need via adoptive placements, advocacy, and providing educational resources. Our passion is to improve the quality of life for all homeless, abused, or neglected animals in our communities.

About Us

Founded in 1996, Animals for Life started with the simple goal of finding needy animals loving homes. Now, almost 30 years later, our goal remains the same–to place homeless animals into wonderful, forever homes.

We believe in education and outreach. We do our best to educate and assist the public on companion animal issues, and address the issue of pet overpopulation that is rampant in Connecticut and the world in general.

Visiting hours are by appointment only.

Our shelter is located at 195 Rubber Ave in Naugatuck, CT.
